Frequently asked questions

What is a CRM for YouTubers and why do I need one?

A CRM for YouTubers is a tool built for creators who work with brands and get sent products. It keeps the history of every brand (contacts, past collabs, agreed prices), the inventory of products they sent you, your editorial calendar and your channel revenue in one place — instead of scattering it across Notion, spreadsheets and email.

Does VidCRM work for shorts, or only long-form videos?

Both. VidCRM auto-detects whether a video is a short (<=180s, or contains #shorts in the title/description) or long-form when you import it, and every view (calendar, videos, analytics) can be filtered by type.

How do I import my YouTube channel?

Open Import channel from your profile menu, paste the channel URL or @handle, and VidCRM creates every published video with its title, date, duration and short/long tag. It uses the public YouTube API — no OAuth permissions or account linking required.

How do I manage gifted and loaned products from brands?

Every product is stored with its brand, receipt date, market price and an ownership flag (gift = yours to keep, loan = must be returned by a given date). When you sell one you log the sale amount and currency and it flows into finance as revenue.

Can I track paid collabs in USD and EUR?

Yes. Every paid collab stores its own amount and currency (USD or EUR). VidCRM keeps the original value and converts it to the display symbol you picked in your profile using official ECB exchange rates refreshed daily.

How is the expected payment date computed?

From the payment timing you agreed with the brand (net 30, net 60, upon publish, upon invoice) and the video publish or invoice date. VidCRM computes it and keeps it editable so you can adjust if the payment shifts.

Can I see my monthly channel revenue?

Yes. The Finance section sums AdSense, brand affiliate revenue, product sales and paid collabs by month, with filters by income type and brand. Sortable history and evolution chart included.

Is VidCRM free?

Yes. Sign up with email or Google, import your channel and start using it — no credit card.

Do I need to link my Google account or grant OAuth permissions?

Not for importing videos: VidCRM uses the public YouTube API, so the channel URL is enough. If you sign in with Google we only use your email and profile picture.

What languages does VidCRM support?

Spanish and English. Switch from the profile menu; VidCRM also auto-detects your browser language on first visit.
